In March 2026, nine Canadian athletes will represent Canada at the 2026 IWWF World U17 Waterski Championships in Córdoba, Argentina. The U17 World Championships provide many athletes with their first opportunity to compete on the world stage, playing an important role in athlete development and the long-term growth of the sport in Canada. The event brings together top U17 athletes from around the world to compete across multiple disciplines.

Water Ski & Wakeboard Canada is seeking support to help offset the costs associated with international competition and to support Team Canada throughout their preparation and participation at the World Championships.

2026 IWWF World U17 Waterski Championship 

Location: Lago Ahumada Esquí Náutico, Argentina 

Dates: March 30th to April 5th, 2026

Team Canada:

Team Athletes: Ryan Cresswell, Asher Dixon, Sophie Strilchuk, Jace Townsend, Reese Townsend, Anna Wheeler 

Wild Card Athletes: Matthew Baxter, Ethan Kuntz, Jacob Kuntz

What Your Donation Supports:

Donations help support team-wide costs associated with international competition, including:

• Team support during the event 
• Registration and event-related fees 
• Training and practice opportunities on-site 
• Equipment transport and logistics 
• Travel and accommodation 
• Team Uniforms 

How to Support Team Canada:

Supporters may contribute any amount to help support Team Canada athletes competing at the 2026 IWWF World U17 Waterski Championships.

Donations are used to support team-wide costs associated with international competition.

A tax receipt will be issued for donations of $25 or more.
