Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada Celebrates Success of the 2025 IWWF World U21 Waterski Championships in Calgary, Alberta
August 4, 2025 – Calgary, AB – Water Ski Canada is proud to celebrate the success of the 2025 IWWF World U21 Waterski Championships, which took place from July 31 to August 3, 2025, at Predator Bay Water Ski Club in Calgary, Alberta.
The event welcomed over 100 athletes from more than 20 countries, showcasing the next generation of the world’s best talent across Slalom, Trick, Jump, Overall, and Team Overall disciplines. Predator Bay, recognized globally as a premier competition venue, provided the perfect setting for high-level performances and international camaraderie.
Over four days, spectators witnessed outstanding achievements from athletes who demonstrated dedication, skill, and sportsmanship on the world stage. The championship brought together the global water ski community, strengthening international connections while highlighting Canada’s ability to host world-class sporting events.

Looking Ahead to 2026
Building on the momentum of this year’s success, Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada looks forward to welcoming the world once again in 2026. Predator Bay Water Ski Club will host the IWWF World 35+ Waterski Championships in Calgary, Alberta, continuing Canada’s proud tradition of staging premier international waterski competitions.
