Water Ski Canada is proud to announce that Chantal Singer, a water skier from Toronto, Ontario, will be representing Canada on the Open Team at the 2024 IWWF Pan American Waterski Championships. The event will take place in Bogota, Colombia, from October 8-12, 2024, bringing together elite athletes from across the Americas to compete on the international stage.
Chantal will be competing in the Slalom and Trick events, where she brings over 20 years of experience to the water. With a personal best of 4@11m in Slalom and 8,620 points in Trick, Chantal has consistently proven herself as a top competitor. Some of her favourite memories in the sport include winning the 2010 Pan Am Championships in Chile after five intense run-offs and placing 8th at her first Open World Championships in 2019 in Malaysia, where she stood up both her trick runs.
After overcoming 2.5 years of injury and rehabilitation, Chantal is excited to return to international competition. Her goal is to not only get back to her pre-injury form but to surpass it.
Chatnal is thankful for the opportunity to compete again and can’t wait to be back on the international stage.
Outside of waterskiing, Chantal is a devoted animal lover, sharing her home with three bunnies, whom she describes as “amazing.”
