Congratulations to Canadian Elite Team rider Bailey Rush\u00a0@baileyrushsurf<\/a>, Wake Canada\u2019s Women\u2019s Wakesurfer Of The Year (2022)!<\/p>\n

The talented 23 year old Gull Lake, Alberta based athlete is among the world\u2019s best in both \u201csurf\u201d and \u201cskim\u201d style wakesurfing! In 2022 Bailey took 2nd in Women\u2019s Pro Surf and 5th in Women\u2019s Pro Skim at the\u00a0@Centurionboats<\/a>\u00a0Wakesurf World Championship. At the 2022 Canadian Nationals, Bailey scored 1st in Pro Surf and 2nd in Pro Skim.<\/p>\n

For 2023 Bailey plans to attend a selection of the top pro wakesurf contests, as well as the World Championships. In the summer months, when she\u2019s not training and competing, Bailey coaches at her Gull Lake, Alberta wakesurf school\u00a0@wakesurfalberta<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Also an accomplished figure skater, Bailey just recently completed her Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Kinesiology degrees at the University of Alberta. – Caro Villeneuve<\/p>\n
