Water Ski Canada is thrilled to announce that Hannah Stopnicki, an athlete from Montreal, Quebec, will be competing at the 2024 IWWF Pan American Waterski Championships. The event will take place in Bogota, Colombia, from October 8-12, 2024, where Hannah will represent Canada as part of the U21 team, competing in both the Slalom and Trick events.
Hannah has been competing for 8 years with a personal best of 2@12m in Slalom and an impressive 8020 points in Trick, she brings a strong track record to the championships. Among her many accomplishments, she is a Junior World Champion, a two-time Junior Masters Trick Champion, a two-time Junior Pan American Champion, and achieved a 10th place finish in Trick at the Open Worlds.
Having been introduced to water skiing at just two years old by her father, Hannah’s passion for the sport has only grown. She currently balances her athletic career while pursuing her studies at Rollins College in Orlando, Florida.
Hannah is excited about the opportunity to compete in a new country and face international competitors at the Pan Am Championships.
