Jonathan Sieswerda Named 2025 WSWC Male Development Adaptive Water Ski Athlete of the Year
Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada is pleased to recognize Jonathan Sieswerda as the recipient of the 2025 WSWC Male Development Adaptive Water Ski Athlete of the Year.
Jonathan’s 2025 season reflects a strong commitment to growth, both on and off the water. With a focused approach to improving his overall fitness and conditioning, he made meaningful strides in his performance, achieving personal bests in both trick and slalom.
His dedication and steady progression earned him a place on Team Canada’s Adaptive World Team. Competing at the World Championships, Jonathan delivered a strong performance on the international stage, earning a bronze medal in Men’s Vision Impaired Tricks. This result highlights both his technical development and his ability to perform in a competitive environment.
In addition to his results, Jonathan is recognized for the way he represents the sport. He approaches training with professionalism, supports his teammates, and consistently demonstrates integrity and sportsmanship. His attitude and work ethic make him a positive influence within the adaptive waterski community.
