Water Ski Canada is pleased to announce that Megan Pelkey, from Bragg Creek, Alberta, will represent Canada at the 2025 IWWF World U21 Waterski Championships. The event will take place from July 31 to August 3, 2025, at the Predator Bay Water Ski Club at Lakes of Kastynstone in Calgary, Alberta.
Megan, who has been competing for 7 years, will compete in Slalom, Trick, and Jump, with her individual scores contributing to the Overall competition. Megan’s accomplishments include:
- 2022 Overall Jr. World Champion
- 2023 and 2024 Jr. Masters Overall Champion
Megan got started in water skiing through her dad, who introduced her to the sport. At the 2025 IWWF World U21 Waterski Championships, Megan is looking forward to meeting new people and skiing, especially in her home country of Canada.
A total of 12 Canadians will compete at the 2025 IWWF World U21 Waterski Championships, and Megan will be one of the talented athletes representing Canada in the Slalom, Trick, and Jump events. The competition promises to showcase some of the best young athletes in the sport.
