World’s Best Young Water Skiers Take Over Calgary for the 2025 IWWF World U21 Waterski Championships
Calgary, Alberta – July 21, 2025 – Speed, strength, and sky-high drama will take center stage as the 2025 IWWF World U21 Waterski Championships land in Calgary from July 31 – August 3. Hosted at the stunning Lakes of Kastynstone by Predator Bay Water Ski Club, the event will feature over 100 athletes from 20+ countries competing in Slalom, Trick, Jump, Overall, and Team Overall.
Expect breathtaking visuals for TV, print, and digital media as athletes launch off ramps at high speed and throw gravity-defying flips and spins.
Watch American trick sensation Jake Abelson, who just smashed the Men’s Trick World Record, and Canadian Slalom standout, Charlie Ross, one of the youngest ever to run the legendary 41-off/10.25m. Both men and women are performing at an unprecedented level, with records on the line and careers being made.
This is water skiing at full throttle – don’t miss it.
