Hamilton, ON – August 15, 2024 – The highly anticipated 2024 Canadian Water Ski Championships will kick off tomorrow at Safari Lake in Hamilton, Ontario, bringing together the nation’s top water skiers for an action-packed week of competition. Running from August 16-21, 2024, this event, hosted by Water Ski and Wakeboard Ontario in collaboration with Water Ski Canada, promises to showcase the best of Canadian talent as athletes compete for coveted National Titles.

Among the elite competitors will be National Team members, including the reigning back-to-back World Slalom Champion, Jaimee Bull. The Championships will also feature several of the 35+ Team members who are preparing to represent Canada at the 2024 IWWF 35+ World Waterski Championships in Spain next month.

In addition, the Adaptive National Team members, who played a pivotal role in securing a historic silver medal for Team Canada at the 2023 IWWF Disabled World Championships, will be competing. Their participation highlights the inclusive nature of the event and the remarkable talent within the adaptive skiing community.

The Championships will also see some of Canada’s brightest young talents back on the water, including Junior National Team members and athletes who recently competed at the 2024 IWWF U17 World Waterski Championships in Calgary earlier this month.
