In 2025, Water Ski & Wakeboard Canada (WSWC) and our respective Provincial Sport Organizations (PSOs) launched a new national membership platform hosted by the IWWF & Qubiteq, designed to streamline how memberships are managed across the country. The platform improved efficiency across membership registration, event registration, and our national coaching and officials/judges databases. Our initial launch went as planned, we are now moving into our second year with planned enhancements.
Over the past six months, WSWC and our PSO partners have worked collaboratively to gather extensive feedback from members, club and school owners, coaches, officials/judges, and volunteers. This feedback highlighted the need for an updated membership framework, including revised membership types, that better reflects the diverse ways individuals participate in the sport.
As a result, WSWC is pleased to announce that a new national membership structure has now been launched across Canada in partnership with our PSOs. This new structure provides clearer membership categories and options, ensuring that everyone—from recreational participants to competitive athletes and technical officials—can access the membership level that best fits their involvement in the sport.
