Water Ski Canada is proud to announce its athletes competing at the prestigious 65th Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament and the 32nd Junior Masters Tournament, taking place from May 23 to May 25, 2025, on Robin Lake in Callaway Gardens, Pine Mountain, GA.
The Masters, renowned worldwide as the pinnacle of watersports excellence, returns to its historic venue at Callaway Gardens for another thrilling Memorial Day weekend. This event, held annually since 1959, offers an unparalleled experience for both athletes and spectators. The tournament is centered around the stunning Robin Lake, with a pavilion situated in the middle of the lake, providing spectacular views of the competition from all angles. Fans flock to the beach and throughout the venue to cheer on the world’s best water skiers and wakeboarders.
Canadian Athletes Competing:
Junior Masters:
- Kate Pinsonneault (BC): Competing in Jr. Women’s Slalom and Jr. Women’s Jump, marking her third and final appearance at the event.
Masters:
- Charlie Ross (ON): Fresh off his victory at the 2025 Nautique Moomba Masters, Charlie is the current U21 Men’s Slalom World Record holder and a two-time Jr. Masters Champion.
- Cole McCormick (ON): Defending Masters Champion, aiming for a repeat victory in Men’s Slalom.
Women’s Slalom:
- Jaimee Bull (ON): Reigning two-time World Champion in Women’s Slalom and previous Masters Champion.
- Neilly Ross (ON): Last year’s silver medalist in Women’s Slalom and Women’s Trick, and a former Masters Champion.
- Paige (Rini) Pigozzi (ON): Third place finisher in last year’s Women’s Slalom.
- Whitney Rini (ON): Previous Masters champion in Women’s Slalom and Women’s Trick. Canadian athletes make up half of the Women’s Slalom field with 4 out of 8 competitors.
Men’s Trick:
- Dorien Llewellyn (AB): Back-to-back Gold medalist in Men’s Overall at the Pan Am Games and the 2021 World Champion in Men’s Trick.
Women’s Trick:
- Neilly Ross (ON): Former Masters Champion in Women’s Trick, competing in both Women’s Slalom and Women’s Trick.
- Olivia Chute (NS): First-time Masters qualifier, with previous podium success in Jr. Girls Trick.
- Paige (Rini) Pigozzi (ON): Competing in both Women’s Slalom and Women’s Trick.
Men’s Jump:
- Ryan Dodd (AB): Reigning 5-time World Champion and current world record holder in Men’s Jump, as well as a multiple-time Masters Champion.
