Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada Announces 2025-2026 Sport Committees
Calgary, AB – November 6, 2025 – Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada (WSWC) is proud to announce the results of the 2025 WSWC Sport Committee elections, held throughout October. Each discipline within the organization has successfully elected its committee representatives, who will play a vital role in guiding the growth, development, and direction of their respective sports in Canada.
Over the past several months, WSWC members participated in the election process, ensuring that the sport committees reflect a broad range of experience, expertise, and passion for advancing water sports nationwide.
About the Sport Committees
Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada recognizes the following five sport committees:
- Adaptive
- Barefoot
- Show Ski
- Wake
- Water Ski
These committees represent the stakeholders of each of the five identified sports.
The role of the committees is to support and advance the growth and progression of their discipline while staying true to their sport culture. As such, they operate with a relatively high degree of autonomy while aligning with WSWC’s overall mission to develop and promote towed water sports across Canada.
