2025 Canadian Water Ski Championships
Event Dates:
When: August 5-10, 2025
Where: Shalom Park Water Ski Site, Edmonton, Alberta
Tentative Schedule:
A tentative schedule of events for the 2025 Canadian Water Ski Championships is now available. Please note that the schedule is subject to change, and more detailed information will be shared as we get closer to the event.
Registration Information:
Registration Fees:
- 1 event: $285 CAD
- 2 events: $325 CAD
- 3 events: $365 CAD
Registration and Payment:
Registration and payment will be processed through WSWC’s EMS system. To finalize and confirm your participation in the 2025 WSWC National Championships, competitors must complete both the registration and payment on WSWC’s EMS platform.
Registration includes:
- Entry into selected events
- Familiarization
- Athlete Bib
- Hall of Fame night (for registered athletes only; non-transferable)
- Nationals Banquet (for registered athletes only; non-transferable)
Registration opens: May 1st, 2025
Prior to registration, be on the lookout for your membership renewal and remember to purchase your IWWF license.

- Extra practice sets before the event
- Event T-Shirts

Early Bird Pricing:
Book your banquet and Hall of Fame tickets before June 1, 2025 for early bird pricing!
Bib Guarantee:
Register and book your host hotel room before June 1, 2025 to guarantee your bib number. Don’t risk not getting your own bib!

Host Hotel: Sandman Signature Edmonton South Hotel

Safety Volunteers Needed:
We are in need of safety swimmers to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during the 2025 WSWC National Championships. If you are interested in volunteering for this important role, please contact Taryn at taryn@wswc.ca.
All volunteers will receive comprehensive training through:
- A virtual seminar
- In-person training during familiarization
Your help as a safety volunteer is crucial in ensuring a safe and successful event for everyone!

Nationals Banquet:
Date: Saturday, August 9, 2025
Location: Shalom Park Banquet Center
Celebrate the conclusion of the 2025 WSWC National Championships at the Nationals Banquet, taking place on the evening of Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the Shalom Park Banquet Center. This event will be an opportunity to reflect on an exciting week of competition and camaraderie with fellow athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, supporters, and the hosts.
Join us for a night of great food, celebration, and recognition of the champions who made this year’s Nationals a success!
Avis: Banquet entry is included with athlete registration, but it is non-transferable. Additional banquet tickets can be purchased through the Shalom Park booking platform for $75. Early bird discount available if purchased before June 1st!
Hall of Fame Celebration:
Date: Wednesday, August 6, 2025
Location: Shalom Park Banquet Center
Join us for an evening of wine, cheese, hors d’oeuvres, and celebration as we honor the newest members of the Water Ski Canada Hall of Fame during the 2025 Canadian National Water Ski Championships.
Inductees to the Hall of Fame include:
- Jaret Llewellyn – Athlete
- Chris Llewellyn – Builder
- Don Llewellyn – Builder
This special event will take place on the evening of Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Shalom Park Banquet Center. Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the contributions of these incredible individuals to the sport of water skiing.
